I'm Frank Sandoval, a software engineer and entrepreneur based in Southern California. For over 15 years, I've been building web and mobile applications that make a real difference.
Background
I started building websites for local businesses in high school, moved through agencies and startups, and eventually founded my own ventures. The work has always been about solving real problems with code that actually works.
As CTO and Co-Founder of DirectDental, I oversee the technology behind a cloud-based staffing platform that connects dental professionals with practices in real time. We've been running since 2018, solving scheduling and staffing challenges for an industry that desperately needed better tools.
I also founded F2 Web Services, where I spent years building custom web applications and marketing strategies for clients across the US and globally. That experience taught me what businesses actually need—not just what they think they want.

I use whatever solves the problem efficiently. These days I focus on building scalable SaaS platforms, optimizing systems for reliability, and staying ahead of trends without chasing every shiny tool.
I thrive in environments that require switching gears quickly—moving between strategic decisions and hands-on development. Whether I'm leading platform architecture or fine-tuning a complex feature, the goal is always the same: deliver high-quality results that solve real problems for real people.
